Kern River Valley Revitalization, Inc. is a broad-based umbrella group organized to facilitate the economic sustainability of the Kern River Valley, consistent with maintaining its rural character and quality of life. Its members represent the Kern County Board of Trade, Kernville and Kern River Valley Chambers of Commerce, non-profit conservation and social organizations, business owners and individuals throughout the Kern River Valley to focus on tourism development and marketing of which, this site is a product.

The Kern County Board of Trade is responsible for promoting and marketing Kern County. Founded in 1888 with the mission to "extol the virtues of Kern County to the East", the Board of Trade today operates Kern County's official tourism bureau and its film commission while also promoting Kern County as one of California's premiere retirement destinations. The Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce is your link with County, State and Federal Government. The Chamber acts as the voice of the business community and organizes, through committees, to achieve results on a cooperative basis that no single individual could.
